Internships
Free State Studios offers internships to individuals interested in learning the "behind the scenes" work of television and commercial production. Interns learn a variety of skills (operations of camera, teleprompter, computer graphics, and audio) while participating in productions ranging from our live 6 and 10 newscasts to sports remotes (Game of the Week, KU Replays), programs (The Turnpike, River City Weekly, 1 on 1 Trivia, Home & Away), and other special events (election coverage and town hall meetings). College credit is available to eligible participants.
