Originally from Atchison, Kansas, I graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in Film Studies. I started part-time with Channel 6 in 1989, learning video production from the ground up.
I love this job because of the variety of people and projects. Working alongside talented folks who are producing award-winning programming and commercials is a thrill. I have been lucky to work on everything from late breaking news & weather to sporting events, cooking, music and trivia shows. My favorite job here has been directing high school football games!
Outside of work, I enjoy hanging out with hubby Jon, my “sweet pea”… daughter Lola Mae, and my 10 year old jack russell/corgi/besengi mix Mitch!
