I grew up in Boulder, Colorado. In 2003, I graduated from the University of Colorado with a B.A. in Broadcast Production Journalism and an emphasis on film and Spanish. I have always had a deep intrigue in still photography, which drifted towards the moving image when I started college. Through various projects, my interest in being behind the camera has expanded into a fascination with editing and producing.

Shortly after graduating, I left to teach English for a year in Concepcion, Chile. Dragging my camera with me through Chile and various other travels, I documented bits and pieces of my experiences, finally ending up in Lawrence. I began working for Free State Studios as an intern in 2006 and gradually transitioned into the position of Project Coordinator/Supervisor. My job is action packed and everyday presents new challenges, projects and opportunities to be creative. Best of all, I am lucky to be working with such skilled and innovative people!
