I graduated from St. Cloud State University, Minnesota in 2003 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. After taking a few years off, I decided to go back to school for my Masters degree. I moved to Lawrence in the fall of 2006 and began working for Free State Studios soon thereafter, drawing on experience earned several years ago as a Production Assistant for a local news station in Florida.
As a Production Assistant at Channel 6, I assist in a variety of way for the live newscasts, as well as assisting in the production of The Turnpike and The Drive.
I feel lucky to work with such laid-back, lovely, people and it's amazing to have a job that actually makes me look forward to "going to work." In my time off, I teach at KU and study (of course). I also enjoy reading, travelling, rock climbing, camping and playing with my pet hamster, Gustave.
